Much appreciated, dear Julia. The prize for winning the scavenger hunt is likely just another Telegram link.

The Berlin scene sounds so intriguing and elusive, ephemeral, yet indelible. Beautiful writing - and what an alluring topic

can’t appreciate the illustrations enough: gives your essay such a fresh look, love it!

i’m based in Madrid but happened to be in Berlin this week (maybe it’s the algorithm finally doing its job and the reason i saw your post) anyways, i’d love to meet for a coffee! :)

Danke! Writing about Berlin sometimes feels like describing a dream five minutes after waking up (though I’ll keep trying).

Totally! I’ve been here since 2007 and it’s still the most difficult place to describe, I know many people feel the same. I gotta say it’s cool to see Mitte get some love again, finally :)
